2010 Mae Chardonnay

Tasting Notes

The 2010 Mae Vineyard Chardonnay is exuberant and rich, with notes of butterscotch and salted popcorn. It’s finally shed its baby fat, having morphed its doughy and spice-spiked vanlian palate into a deep & brooding molasses cum kiwi that’s at once dense yet crisp. It’s a confounding wine: crème fraîche, guava and white florals all hang in the balance of a potent, suave and broad palate, pushing and pulling right on the cusp of green pineapple hedonism.
