Tasting Notes

Sweet cinnamon and chocolaty spice aromas emanate from the glass alongside cassis laden dark berry fruit, green herb garni, and wet stone. An initial savoriness on the palate shows some back end freshness that evolves into layers of ripe black plum, cherry, cassis, and roasted poblano pepper. Hints of graphite and toasted tobacco punctuate an array of complex flavors and aromas that lead to a long and balanced finish.

True to place and variety, this Cab Franc tempers the opulence of Napa fruit with compelling herbaceous qualities that make for a very complex but food friendly wine, but one which can also stand on its own.
