2019 Sugarloaf Cabernet Sauvignon

Tasting Notes

Sweet wood notes waft from the glass along with a mélange of dark fruit aromas, nutmeg, clove, blue flowers, and also some herbaceous earthy undertones. Blackberry, cassis, and cherry fruit are lush and ripe on the palate, interspersed with hints of black licorice, ani-sette, cacao, and cigar box. Great acid and chewy tannins are fresh on the back palate with a spicy and warming kick of black pepper on a long finish. This wine has a considerable amount of depth and structure that will benefit from plenty of air upon opening. Drink now or cellar for medium to long term drinking.
