2013 Dolly Hill Chardonnay

Tasting Notes

The 2013 Dolly Hill is pale white gold in color with green glints. The nose shows a complex floral note from the extended time on it’s lees. Over-steeped chamomile tea gives way to classic yellow apple, ripe pear and melon aromas. The palate is full bodied, yet crisp. The melon and apple really come through with almond and hazelnut playing a complicating role. There’s a Chablis like character to the long, smokey, mineral laced finish.
