2013 Sugarloaf Syrah

Tasting Notes

Ripe blueberries and blackberries mingle with a lavish amount of vanilla and baking spices along with chocolate, cavendish tobacco and aromas of lavender and violet. Dark berry fruit on the palate is given some buoyancy by good acid and accompanied by notes of white pepper, earth, herbs de Provence and graphite. This full bodied wine has big punch on the front end, a silky mouthfeel, and med-fine tannins that resolve to a long finish.
