Tasting Notes

Deep ruby in color out of the bottle, this wine starts off with whiffs of anise followed by rich oakiness. A highly expressive nose then showcases ripe black cherries which carry through to the palate. As this wine opens up it begins to reveal more nuanced floral notes of jasmine and honeysuckle while the fruit characters shift more towards lychee. The moderately high tannins on this young wine means you should properly decant before drinking in order for it to open up and showcase it’s full potential.
