Tasting Notes

Spicy aromas of clove, cinnamon, and nutmeg permeate the nose in between layers of red and black fruit, vanilla, and hints of tanned leather and leafy underbrush. Flavors of blackberry, currant, and kirsch liqueur are warming on the pallet with suggestions of dried fruit, steeped tea, and black pepper. Bright acid and dusty tannins lead to a med-long finish.
