Tasting Notes

Earth, sweet spices, vanilla, and black and blue fruits show prominently on the nose. Sweet fruit on the pallet meets good acid and freshness on the backend, showing blackberry, blueberry, and cherry fruit in spades, as well as earthier nuances of leather, black pepper, and wild mushrooms. Some extended time in the glass brings out some stony mineral notes of petrichor and graphite as well savory herbs, all resolving to silky tannins and a med-long finish. This wine is as balanced, charming, and imminently drinkable as always.
