Tasting Notes

The nose shows petrichor and lemon pith at the outset, later developing heady aromas of honeysuckle, brioche, cultured cream, and tropical fruit. More bright citrus notes on the palate compliment ripe pear, melon, and golden delicious apple flavors that are balanced by great acid, and placed on display via a big, textured mouth feel. This non oaked Chardonnay from the Dolly Hill vineyard is reminiscent of single vineyard Chablis but with a plush California fruit character that acts as the centerpiece for this cuvee.
